Quality You Can See

What A-grade actually means on our shelves

01

Hand-selected at source

Brisbane Markets grades produce. We pick A-grade where it's available, which means top appearance, ripeness and size uniformity. Not seconds, not processing-grade.

02

Daily turnover

We buy what we expect to sell that day and the next. Fruit doesn't sit on our shelves for a week. If it's getting past its prime, it's marked down, not left to deteriorate.

03

Real variety info

We label varieties, not just "apple" or "pear". You'll know if it's a Pink Lady or a Fuji, a Williams or a Packham, because variety matters for how you'll use it.

Growing Regions

Where our produce comes from

Most of what we stock is Queensland-grown, with NSW and Victorian produce where seasons make it the better option.

Our citrus comes from the Burnett (Gayndah, Mundubbera) and Central Queensland (Emerald). Sweet potato from Bundaberg. Brassicas, lettuce and most leafy greens from the Lockyer Valley. Pumpkin, onion and carrots from Gatton and Lockyer. Stone fruit in season from Stanthorpe and northern NSW.

Specialty items like fresh methi and Indian vegetables are sourced from farms that grow specifically for the ethnic produce market.
